Workshop Controller
(not required to work on the tools but must have experience of HGV's / Fleet Maintenance and repair plus workshop efficiencies)

Location of the Workshop Controller / Workshop Supervisor / Fleet Controller / HGV Supervisor: Dursley Gloucestershire

Salary of the Workshop Controller / Workshop Supervisor / Fleet Controller / HGV Supervisor: £35,000 - £38,000 (would go slightly higher for the right candidate) + Van
off the tools

Working hours of the Workshop Controller / Workshop Supervisor / Fleet Controller / HGV Supervisor:
Monday to Friday - days

Our client is seeking a Workshop Controller / Workshop Supervisor / Fleet Controller / HGV Supervisor required for a successful workshop dealing with RCV vehicles as well as their own fleet.

This is a very busy and challenging role but very rewarding. This company has expanded and grown during the pandemic!

Workshop Controller / Workshop Supervisor / Fleet Controller / HGV Supervisor Responsibilities include:
·Supervising and motivating our team of Service Technicians, Production team and Fabrication team and pro actively reviewing daily workload to seek opportunities that will help drive performance.
·Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by implementing quality checks, resolving any issues, and re-assuring customers by providing all necessary information and advice.
·Supervises the daily time keeping of technicians and manages authorised absence to ensure a consistent level of attendance
·Maintaining relationships with vehicle manufacturer and providing technical information for Technicians during repair operations
·Ensuring efficiencies in the workshop are maintained and work is carried out in the specified allocated time
·Complying with Health & Safety regulations and ensuring high standards of housekeeping and security are achieved and maintained within the workshop and surrounding areas

Workshop Controller / Workshop Supervisor / Fleet Controller / HGV Supervisor:
·Prior experience as a Workshop Controller / Workshop Foreman / Workshop Supervisor is preferred
·Ability to work calmly under pressure and manage a workshop
·Well-developed management and leadership skills
·Main dealer experience would be considered as efficiencies and booked hours are essential
·Computer literate including Microsoft Office
