Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester required for Independent Gage based in Coventry.
Salary: £25,000pa - £26,000 basic OTE Available as overtime

Our client is seeking a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join a fantastic team in an independent garage based in Coventry.
As an experienced vehicle technician, you will be involved in all aspects of maintenance and repairs of vehicles, carrying out routine servicing and diagnostic checks working to agreed time scales and completing relevant vehicle records, all whilst ensuring the highest possible standards are achieved and maintained.

We are looking for a multi-skilled technician as you will also be expected to conduct MOT and vehicle inspections in line with DVSA standards.
For this position it is crucial that you have a Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in Vehicle Repair and an active Class 4 MOT Licence

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (Saturdays paid as overtime)

Essential Skills & Qualifications for Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester role:

·Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in Vehicle Repair.
·Active and clean DVSA license (MOT Class 4)
·Knowledge on current MOT standards
·Main Dealership / Large independent experience
·Full Clean UK Drivers licence (No more than 3 points on licence)
·Ability to work as part of a team and a genuine commitment to delivering first class customer service
·Experience in carrying out diagnostic and service repairs
