Vehicle Technician required for Prestige Independent Garage in Stevenage.
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000pa Basic

Our client is seeking a vehicle technician to join their growing team in a prestige independent garage based in Stevenage.

As an experienced vehicle technician, you will be involved in all aspects of maintenance and repairs of vehicles, carrying out routine servicing and diagnostic checks, fault finding issues and issuing maintenance checks according to franchise guidelines, ensuring the highest possible standards are achieved and maintained. You will also be liaising with customers and managing their expectations, therefore strong customer service skills are essential to the role.

Hours are 8:00am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday / Saturdays 1 in 3 8:30am - 1:00pm.

Essential Skills & Qualifications for Vehicle Technician role:

·Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in Vehicle Repair.
·2 years minimum experience within an automotive workshop environment
·Main Dealership / Large independent experience
·Ability to work as part of a team and a genuine commitment to delivering first class customer service
·Experience in carrying out diagnostic repairs and fault finding
