Vehicle Technician

Salary: Up to £27,000 pa including FANTASTIC OTE/BONUS 

Location: Northampton

Are you a fully qualified and experienced Vehicle Technician?

Our client is currently in need of a Vehicle Technician in to carry out diagnostics, service and repair, recalls and warranties of all vehicles. 


Vehicle Technician The Role:

·Responsible for routine servicing and repairs of all components from breaks to electronic and mechanical fault finding
·Ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of diagnosing and repairing the vehicles
·Understanding the importance of customer and public safety whilst minimising the cost for the customer
·Completing all work in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and timeframes
·Vehicle maintenance and repair
·Electrical, electronic, mechanical, fault diagnosis
·Overhaul electrical equipment and components 
·Prior experience of working to efficiency targets
·Record attendance, work performance, times taken and associated details 
·Carry out inspection and repair of workshop equipment as directed 
·Use of skills and performance of other work within normal job skills as required by the Workshop Supervisor to maximise workshop efficiency 
·Undertake the duties of Technician and Workshop as and when required 
·Working at all times in accordance with safety policies and legal requirements. 

Vehicle Technician essential experience:

·Relevant, Automotive City and Guilds or NVQ 
·Large Independent Garage or Dealership experience 
·MOT Qualification preferably 
·A full Driving Licence 
·Your own set of Tools
