Van Technician

Location: Bristol
Salary: up to £28,000pa DOE + BONUS & O/T

Working hours: Rotating day shift
·Permanent dayshift
·Overtime at time and a half
·Performance bonuses of up to £7,000 per year
·Guaranteed bonus paid in your probation period
·Regular training and development

Motivated and Enthusiastic Van Technician / Van Fitter / Van Mechanic / HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic required for a successful workshop in Bristol.

As an Van Technician / Van Fitter / Van Mechanic / HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic you will need to service and repair vehicles in a safe and economical manner employing such skills and knowledge as may be required, including the ability to diagnose fault with the minimum supervision.

General Duties:

•Vehicle Inspections
•General Servicing
•Correction / repair of vehicle defects
•Engine / Gearbox repairs & overhauls
•MOT Preparation / Presentation
•Completion of all required paper work#

Skills/ Experience:

•Required to work in busy workshop
•Must have experience working with vans but car technicians will be considered
•Must be conversant with current working methods, including MOT Preparation and Vehicle diagnostics
•Work to include carrying out service and maintenance of customers vehicles
•Experience working on Volkswagen or Audi vehicles would be a distinct benefit
