Salary for the Sales Manager / Truck Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Commercial Sales Manager / Fleet Sales Manager:
£50,000.00 basic plus up to 35% annual bonus and fantastic company benefits

My Client, a Commercial Main dealer with multiple sites are looking for a new Sales Manager / Truck Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Commercial Sales Manager / Fleet Sales Manager to join their team looking to cover the sites mainly between Welham Green and Ipswich.

The Ideal Sales Manager / Truck Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Commercial Sales Manager / Fleet Sales Manager will have experience in this field with knowledge of the Truck industry or of selling Trucks.

Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Sales Manager / Truck Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Commercial Sales Manager / Fleet Sales Manager:

·Recruitment - take an active role in the recruitment of staff within the truck sales department
·Prospecting - work with the sales and marketing teams to identify targets and coordinate activities
·Retail business management - coordinate the recording of activity and review on a regular basis through sales meetings and one to ones
·Support the sales team with deal structure and customer offers
·Assist the sales and admin teams in the application of contingency support
·Sign off incoming customer orders on the system
·Support the sales admin team in the development of work in progress
·Accurately forecast registrations and financial forecasting for the brand
·Financial management - control income by ensuring all vehicles are fully paid before being registered and released to customers
·Control vehicle and ancillary debts, including outstanding contingency payments and pricing credits
·Control expenditure in key budget areas including, but not limited to, vehicle stocking interest, demonstrator and vehicle running expenses
·People management - assist Sales Director in design and management of sales commission structures
·Conduct regular staff appraisals
·Stock management
·Working with the marketing team to promote stock vehicles
·Design and manage incentive schemes for the sale of stock
·Have a working knowledge of all sales-related systems
·Customer management - monitor sales team usage of CRM system and support where necessary
·Attend customer meetings
·Monitor Customer satisfaction
·Performance management

Training and Development for the Sales Manager / Truck Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Commercial Sales Manager / Fleet Sales Manager:

·Undertake all training as required by the Company and Brand
·Attend all product launch events at home and abroad when required
·Enrol on company development programme and attend regular progress meetings with Line Manager

Competencies Required for the Sales Manager / Truck Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Commercial Sales Manager / Fleet Sales Manager:

·Develop and maintain sound working relationships with sales manager, sales team colleagues and admin team
·Maintain relationships with the Senior Management
·Work closely with the brand managers in the understanding and development of the product and role
