Day shift Monday to Friday 06:00am - 16:00pm

Back shift Monday to Thursday 12:00pm - 22:00pm & Friday 10:00am - 20:00pm
Saturday 06:00am - 13:00pm

My client is a logistics provider specialising in bulk transport and the provision of on-site logistics and cask storage. They have an established history of 60 years within the transport industry, providing our customers with the perfect blend of quality and service. They are looking for a HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / Trailer Technician to join their site in Springburn.

HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / Trailer Technician Job Role:

·On site diagnostics of faults with the plant equipment
·Completion of safety inspections and repair of trailers and tanks
·Strip and repair of cargo pumps
·Documenting and filing service information/records
·Completion of all work in accordance with manufacturers guidelines

Essential Skills for the HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / Trailer Technician

·Experience working on walking floor and moving floor trailer
·NVQ level 3 in Maintenance or equivalent (or time served)
·Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics and pneumatics
·Experience of working on Curtain/PSK/Container trailers/and road going tanks
·Class 1 license (optional)
·Experience fitting axel’s to trailers
