Service Vehicle Technician required for our successful automotive client in Exeter

Basic Salary £26,500pa plus BONUS & OTE - based on skills and experience

Our client, an employer of choice is looking for a Service Vehicle Technician with a forward thinking attitude to join their motivated growing team.

As a Service Vehicle Technician, you will be play a pivotal role being involved in all aspects of servicing, maintenance and repairs of vehicles, carrying out routine servicing and maintenance checks according to manufacturing guidelines ensuring the highest possible standards are achieved and maintained. The Service Vehicle Technician will also conduct basic electrical and mechanical repairs. The Service Vehicle Technician should be able to fix faults first time round, maximising customer satisfaction whilst reducing operating cost for the client. All vehicles must be maintained to health and safety policy standards, whilst carrying out inspections, repairs, servicing, storing and handling parts. Experience within a volume franchised dealership or large independent garage would be advantageous.

Essential Skills & Qualifications for a Service Vehicle Technician

·Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in Vehicle Repair.
·1 years experience within an automotive workshop environment required
·Ability to work as part of a team
·A genuine commitment to delivering first class customer service
·Experience in carrying out servicing and repairs mechanical and electrical
·Full UK Driving License
·Own a full set of tools
