Service Reception Manager- Basingstoke

£27,000 - OTE £35,000

Monday - Friday 08:00 -18:00 

As Service Reception Manager you will be based in my clients busy Commercial Vehicles dealership and report directly to the Head of Business. You will be responsible for the day to day management of Service Reception, ensuring correct processes are followed and targets are achieved. My clients is looking for a target driven, motivated, confident and well presented individual to represent the company. This is a challenging and rewarding role that puts you at the front of the business, liaising with our workshop, parts and sales departments to ensure the very best experience.

The Service Reception Manager involves:

* Providing an exceptional level of customer care and satisfaction
* Managing the bookings process for servicing and repairs
* Ensuring there is a robust customer preparation process in place
* Embracing the Service Core Process and ensuring this is followed
* Interacting with customers face to face, over the phone and digitally
* Updating customers regarding the progress of their vehicles
* Ensuring accuracy in quoting and invoicing for work carried out
* Selling additional products and services
* Being the first point of contact for any customer queries or concerns
* Running reports, analysing them to ensure consistency and that high levels of performance are maintained
* Constantly looking for new ways to develop and improve our service offering
* Coaching the Service Reception team to ensure a consistently high service performance


Required for this Service Reception Manager role:

* Be a polite and friendly personality with the ability to engage with staff and customers whilst delivering exceptional levels of customer care
* Have previous direct sales experience, selling either a product or a service within a target driven environment
* Be highly organised, proactive and have strong time management skills
* Work well individually as well as being a team player
* Be able to work under pressure and have the ability to multi task to ensure deadlines are met
* Be able to demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills
* Have high energy and bring a positive influence to the service department
* Have at least 2 years experience in a Franchised Dealership, working in a similar role. Volkswagen, or VAG Group experience is a distinct advantage, but is not essential
