Service Administrator

Location: Newport
Salary: £18,000 to £20,000 DOE (with overtime at time and a half)
Working hours:
Monday to Friday 07:00 to 15:30 / 09:30 to 18:00 / Saturday mornings on a rota basis (Paid as overtime at time and a half)

Organised and customer focused Service Administrator / Service Advisor / Service Receptionist required for a growing dealership based in Newport.

As a Service Administrator, you will assist the Depot Supervisor to manage the workshop to ensure a profitable & efficient site that meets and exceeds customer expectations.

Service Administrator / Service Advisor / Service Receptionist Duties:

·• Raise job cards as required and updating jobs on the system in an accurate and timely fashion
·• Review system status reports to ensure no job has missed being completed
·• Update job times for fitters for each job worked on from clock cards
·• Control & monitor clock machine with reference to start time, breaks, and finish times
·• Ensure that the parts are available for the job at the correct time
·• Ensure parts used are booked out accurately to the job.
·• Raise and process invoices
·• Liaise with customers regarding scheduling and completion of work.
·• Update customers regarding any extra authority required and forwarding estimates as required.
·• Answering the telephone and dealing with queries from customers

Service Administrator / Service Advisor / Service Receptionist skills and experience:

·A strong customer service background, with experience dealing with customers over the telephone and face to face
·Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment
·Willingness to learn (full training will be given in this role)
·Experience working in the motor trade would be a benefit but not essential
·An interest in the motor trade would be a benefit
·Willingness to solve problems and ask questions where appropriate
·A personable and friendly manner
·The successful candidate will be literate, numerate and with reasonable IT skills
