My client, one of the Commercial Vehicle Main Dealer groups in the South West is looking to take on a Sales Administrator for their state of the art company in the HGV Sector in Taunton.
My client is looking for somebody with strong Sales Administration experience that is looking to work for a reputable and very busy HGV Dealership
The role of the Sales Administrator is to provide vital support to the company’s sales team. You will be working closely with the Sales team and Sales Administration Manager in assisting them on a day to day basis.

Duties / Responsibilities of the Sales Administrator

To ensure the efficient administration of all commercial vehicles for the Sales Department, effectively supporting all departments with the flow of communication and administration as necessary.

Ensure the accuracy of orders against current specification codes for standard and factory fitted equipment.

Monitor continuously the order and delivery progress (either to UK or overseas).

Collate and record all vehicle information on to the system. Ensure files are created and maintained for all vehicles.

Taxing of vehicles.

Dealing with workshop, to ensure vehicles are ready or any work needed is prepared and arranged with relevant departments.

Actively support the external sales staff & agents where required, providing relevant information and feedback on customer orders and product matters. Process all new orders and progress them.

Answer and deal with telephone calls quickly and efficiently.

To carry out any further duties within capabilities when requested by management.

To comply with all the Quality Standards agreed within the Company and to have personal responsibilities for the dealership’s established Policy and Procedures.

This role for a Sales Administrator is 40 hours a week Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00.

Must have Automotive / Motor Trade experience! HGV or commercial experience is an advantage.

HGV Licence would be a great advantage but not essential.
