PSV Technician- Kent
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 p/a

Shifts: Monday to Friday
Early 05:30AM – 15:30PM
Days 07:30AM - 17:30PM
Saturday morning and on call are based on a rota

Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic required for a thriving workshop in Kent
This is an opportunity for a technician to really make it their own position in helping to support the company in driving the business forward through supporting the workshop and the service team.

The HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic role involves:
·Fault finding, and carrying out repairs
·Undertaking Vehicle maintenance, servicing and running repairs on a varied fleet
·O.T preparation
·Ensure vehicles are maintained in accordance with the Company Operators Licence guidelines
·Ensure all repairs to company vehicles are carried out in a timely manner
·Preventative Maintenance
·Fault Diagnostics
·Prompt repair of all defective vehicles to the highest standard
·The ability to work to the highest Health & Safety standards


Required for this HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic role:
·City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Repair and Maintenance, although qualification by experience will be considered.
·Previous experience of working on coaches and buses such as Volvo, Scania, Mercedes and Dennis
·PCV licence preferred but not essential (prepared to go through test) must have full driving licence with no more than 6 points to attend roadside
·Have proven Diagnostic skills and Electrical experience
·Able to demonstrate knowledge and experience as a HGV or PSV Technician / Mechanic
·Carry out routine inspections, maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles to DVSA standard
·Ability to actively seek solutions to problems
·Good verbal communication skills
·Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks
·Cat D (Preferred)
·Cat B (Required)
