Location of the Plant Operator/ Plant Worker: Bristol
Salary of the Plant Operator role- Starting rate £12.00 P/H

The Plant operator role involves:
·Operating mobile and fixed plant, including cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
·Managing traffic, such as guiding tipping vehicles.
·Operate the weighbridge and accurately record the weight and other specified details of vehicles both entering and leaving the site.
·Ensure that the company complies fully with its legal duties, in respect of the health, safety and welfare of its employees and of other people who may be affected by his/her actions or omissions.
·Co-operating with the company and with other employees in order to comply with site permits, all applicable legislation and the companies Policies and Procedures.
·Co-operating directly with customers and members of the public, providing excellent customer service.
·Any other duties that are reasonably requested within the scope of the job-role, including undertaking first aider / fire safety.

Required for this Plant Operator role:

 seeking an experienced plant operator, who holds the relevant CITB/CPCS/NPORS certification or equivalent, but for the right candidate training can be given.

·Operational experience and current licences for loading shovel, 360 tele-handler and forklift You’ll have the opportunity to undertake personal development to obtain skills for waste acceptance, maintenance of site equipment, infrastructure and operation of site machinery.
Prior waste / recycling or similar process environment highly advantageous
Excellent understanding and approach to health & safety
Great communication and customer service skills
Good IT skills.
