Plant Fitter Job Details
Basic Salary: £35,000pa
Working Hours: Monday-Friday - 07:30-17:00
Location: Birmingham
 
My client is looking for an experienced fitter who will be responsible for ensuring the repair and maintenance of internal and external plant equipment.
 
The successful candidate will work both on-site and on a mobile bases. Responsibilities include analysing mechanical and electrical problems, providing timely repairs, providing customer support, and working collaboratively with team members. If you do like variety in your day to day life, then this could be an ideal job for you.

Responsibilities of an Plant Fitter
·Ability to analyse mechanical and electrical problems quickly and efficiently
·Strong mechanical and technical knowledge
·Ability to work independently and as a team member
·Routine maintenance processes to DVSA standards
·Excellent customer service and communication skills
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.

Skills and Qualifications of an Plant Fitter
·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified in Plant Maintenance
·UK Driving Licence is essential (Van provided for roles externally with trusted clients)
