Parts Manager / Maidenhead
I am currently recruiting for an experienced parts manager to join a well established commercial dealership.
·Deliver an outstanding parts service to all customers, both internal and external
·Achieve and strive to exceed all targets and parts sales objectives through a well-developed and motivated parts team
·Achieve a significant market share, through maximum sales of parts to trade and retail outlets and other Van Centre departments
·Maintain agreed profit margins and return on investment
·Help Van Centre to achieve industry-leading standards of process efficiency
·Ensure departmental compliance with company policies and industry guidelines
·Sales vs. objectives
·Profit on sales
·VQM/Van Centre audit
·Customer satisfaction (CEM) and retention (repeat purchase)
·Any other reasonable duties appropriate for the level of the job, as required by the business.

Whilst (s)he must focus on maximising the potential of their area of responsibility today, (s)he must also have an eye for opportunity, plan for the future and be able to manage some strategic risks.
Possesses the personal impact and stature of a professional business person. Has the essential skills to make an impact with a range of people and possess a level of self-awareness that enables them to adapt their style to suit different requirements.
Knowledgeable of and aligned to the Brand, acting as trustworthy ambassador in the eyes of the customer, staff and peers. Runs their area of responsibility in a manner that honours the Brand values and supports Brand strategy in all that it does.
·Empathy and tolerance
·Minimum GCSEs in Maths and English
·A levels or vocational qualifications e.g. NVQ, Level 3, Parts Distribution and Supply, Level 4, Management etc. desirable
·Prepared to work towards qualifications for career advancement/consolidation
·Parts management and marketing experience within the commercial vehicle motor industry
·Proven track record in managing people and systems
·Proven track record of working with figures
·Knowledge of vehicle legislation, consumer legislation and trade practices
·Clean driving licence
·Computer skills, including experience of operating word processing and database packages, email and internet
