MOT TESTER
MOT Tester required for our automotive client based in Aberdeen

Basic Salary: up to £35,000pa

We are looking for a MOT Tester who can be varied in their role as duties will include general vehicle service, repair work and MOT Testing to VOSA Standards, working to agreed time scales and completing relevant vehicle records.

You will need to have a flexible approach as there may be some Vehicle Technician work needed when MOT Testing is quiet. Our client is seeking someone with a positive attitude and a focused mind when dealing with workloads. You will also be involved in helping to train and develop staff so being able to work as part of a team is crucial.

The right candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in the automotive industry, diagnostic experience would be advantageous but not essential. Experience with different makes and brands would be beneficial but is also not essential. Most importantly the right candidate will be reliable, a self starter, able to complete jobs first time around and the customer service skills to ensure every customer leaves happy. In return you will receive a competitive salary, 4 weeks holiday, and on the job training.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Skills & Qualifications for a MOT Tester role:

·Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
·Valid MOT Licence preferred but not essential
·Ability to work as part of a team
·A commitment to delivering first-class customer service
·Previous experience as an MOT Tester would be advantageous but not essential.
