MET TECHNICIAN/ Workshop Controller

Basic Salary – £25,000 - £32,000
Bonuses - Available.
Working Hours – 08:00 am - 18:00pm (Flexible Hours)
Location - Sheffield

Talented and efficient MET Technician/ Workshop Controller to join this leading team. You will be repairing damaged vehicles in line with the manufacturers’ specifications within a state-of-the-art Bodyshop, utilising modern equipment and techniques. 

Responsibilities of an MET Technician/ Strip Fitter
·Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre.
·Follow the correct repair techniques and produce work in line with factory specifications and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities of a Workshop Controller
·To deliver financial results in line with agreed budgeted requirements
·To manage site resources and costs to optimise capability and profitability
·To actively and effectively manage work provider and supplier relationships
·To manage compliance to all company processes as well as current Health & Safety, PAS125 and manufacturer standards.
·To deliver structured individual performance management processes
·We are looking for somebody with a full driving licence, a professional appearance, excellent communication skills and the ability to show a calm, confident approach.

Skills and Qualifications of an MET Technician/ Workshop Controller
·You will have served a recognised apprenticeship as a MET Technician/ Strip Fitter and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / VCQ / SVQ / ATA).
·You must have previous experience working as a MET Technician within a busy body shop and be a strong team player with a self-motivation to earn bonus hours. 
·You will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques. 
·Workshop Control QC
·ATA manufacture standards.
