Mechanic


Working Hours of the PCV technician / Light Commercial Technician / Mechanic / Minibus Technician / Van Technician / PSV Technician / Technician / LCV Technician:
40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: £22,000pa - £25,000pa plus occasional overtime

Location: London

My client are looking for a PCV technician / Light Commercial Technician / Mechanic / Minibus Technician / Van Technician / PSV Technician / Technician / LCV Technician required for a thriving Light Commercial Franchise for their London Depot.

Motivated and Enthusiastic PCV technician / Light Commercial Technician / Mechanic / Minibus Technician / Van Technician / PSV Technician / Technician / LCV Technician for our successful client.

As a Enthusiastic PCV technician / Light Commercial Technician / Mechanic / Minibus Technician / Van Technician / PSV Technician / Technician / LCV Technician you will need to service and repair vehicles in a safe and economical manner employing such skills and knowledge as may be required, including the ability to diagnose fault with the minimum supervision.

Responsibilities of the PCV technician / Light Commercial Technician / Mechanic / Minibus Technician / Van Technician / PSV Technician / Technician / LCV Technician:

·SMR MOT
·PSV preparation on Minibuses
·Working on Vehicles
·Dealing with Vans
·General Servicing
·Correction / repair of vehicle defects
·MOT Preparation / Presentation
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Skills and Qualifications of the PCV technician / Light Commercial Technician / Mechanic / Minibus Technician / Van Technician / PSV Technician / Technician / LCV Technician:

·Required to work in busy workshop
·Must be conversant with current working methods, including MOT Preparation and Vehicle diagnostics
·Work to include carrying out service and maintenance of customers vehicles
·Experience of on-site inspections and attending breakdowns preferable
·Driving licence essential
·Diagnostic experience
