Our client is seeking a HGV Workshop Supervisor required for a successful workshop
This is a very busy and challenging role but very rewarding.
Supporting the workshop Manager in the day-to-day running of the workshop and its facilities, scheduling workloads and maximising productivity.


HGV Workshop Supervisor Responsibilities include:
·Supervising and motivating our team of Service Technicians, Production team and Fabrication team and pro actively reviewing daily workload to seek opportunities that will help drive performance.
·Conform to all current mandatory & EHS legislation.
·Ensure all agreed Goals & Objectives are met or exceeded.
·Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by implementing quality checks, resolving any issues, and re-assuring customers by providing all necessary information and advice.
·Supervises the daily time keeping of technicians and manages authorised absence to ensure a consistent level of attendance
·Maintaining relationships with vehicle manufacturer and providing technical information for Technicians during repair operations
·Ensuring efficiencies in the workshop are maintained and work is carried out in the specified allocated time
·Complying with Health & Safety regulations and ensuring high standards of housekeeping and security are achieved and maintained within the workshop and surrounding areas

HGV Workshop Supervisor:
·Prior experience as a Workshop Controller / Workshop Foreman / Workshop Supervisor is preferred
·Must be a “Time Served” technician or possess City & Guilds 1,2 & 3 Certificates or equivalent qualifications & experience and have a technical background /experience in trailer repairs
·Ability to work calmly under pressure and manage a workshop
·Well-developed management and leadership skills
·Full UK driving licence is needed, HGV/PSV Licence is an advantage
·Computer literate including Microsoft Office
