HGV TECHNICIAN

Salary – £32,110pa - £34,580pa depending on experience
Working Hours – Monday to Friday 08:00 - 18:00 with some Saturdays required
Location - Hyde

Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic is required for a successful workshop in Hyde.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / PSV Technician / Mechanic to join a thriving workshop and be part of a forward-thinking company that looks after their employees.

Responsibilities of a HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / PSV Technician / Mechanic:

·Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Skills and Qualifications of a HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / PSV Technician / Mechanic:

·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV licence is an advantage
·Diagnostic experience

Company Benefits:  

·Holiday allowance: 20 days plus bank holidays, 16 for shift workers / 28 days as they are expected to work BH if they fall on their shift. They do get an enhanced rate too.
