Hours for the HGV Technician Charge hand / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / Workshop Foreman / HGV Technician:

Week 1: Days Monday - Friday 06:00 - 16:00
Week 2: Backs Monday - Thursday 14:00 – 00:00
Friday 12:00 – 22:00
Saturday 07:00 - 13:00


Experienced and reliable HGV Technician Charge hand / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / Workshop Foreman / HGV Technician required for a thriving workshop

This is a new and exciting opportunity for the right HGV Technician Charge hand / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / Workshop Foreman / HGV Technician to influence an independent logistics provider with a fleet of over 150 vehicles and 700 trailers.

You will need to be fully experienced in the field as you will be working on complete repairs, as well as helping your team if needed.

Working as an HGV Technician Charge hand / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / Workshop Foreman / HGV Technician, this role will involve:

·Maintenance and repair of vehicles, trailers and ancillary equipment.
·Fault-finding on vehicles, trailers and equipment and replacing parts where necessary.
·MOT preparation and completion of associated paperwork.


The suitable HGV Technician Charge hand / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / Workshop Foreman / HGV Technician will have the following skills and experience:

·NVQ Level 3 Qualifications or equivalent.
·Experience working on commercial vehicles as an HGV technician.
·Experience working on trailers and tail-lifts is a benefit, but not essential as full training will be given to the right candidate.
·A can-do attitude and willingness to learn new vehicles and equipment is essential.
·Previous supervisory experience
·Full clean UK Driving Licence.
·Class C + E an advantage
