My client within the commercial automotive industry are currently recruiting a talented HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic to join their Service Department in Liverpool.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the main job function will be to undertake maintenance and repair activities on commercial vehicles/trailers of all types, to diagnose faults, carry out tests on vehicles and effect permanent and complete repairs.

As a HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic some of your duties will be to:

·Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers to VOSA standard
·Attend regular training courses to keep up to date with current product knowledge
·Ensure Health & Safety regulations are adhered to
·Maintain a high level of tidiness & cleanliness

Essential for the HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic

·City & Guilds or NVQ qualified certificate
·Class 1 or 2 an advantage
·A friendly, confident and professional manner with excellent communication skills.
·Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a larger team as well as on their own initiative.

Need to hold a valid class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence.
