HGV Technician

Location: Didcot

Salary: £40,515.00pa (up to £18.50 per hour) + Additional £20 per shift

Shifts for HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / Mechanic: 4 on 4 off
18:00pm – 0600 am  night shift

My client, one of the largest brand companies is looking to employ an HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / Mechanic due to an ever-expanding work load.
HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / Mechanic requires:
• Required to work in busy Commercial/HGV workshop
• Must be conversant with current working methods, including MOT Preparation & Trailer and Vehicle diagnostics
• Work to include carrying out service and maintenance of predominantly trailers but also HGV and LGV
• Experience of on-site inspections and attending breakdowns preferable
• Driving licence Essential

HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / Mechanic general duties:
• Vehicle Inspections
• General Servicing
• Correction / repair of vehicle defects
• Engine / Gearbox repairs & overhauls
• MOT Preparation / Presentation
• Completion of all required paper work

The successful HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / Mechanic must be fully qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ Level3 / IRTEC or a times served HGV Technician
