Location: Scunthorpe
Salary: £28,000pa up to £40,000pa dependant on experience, qualifications and bolt on + OT

Working hours:

NIGHTSHIFT
Monday to Thursday - 40 Hours Per Week

Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic required for a successful workshop in Scunthorpe.

My client, one of Lincolnshire’s most successful Commercial Vehicle Main Dealers is looking to recruit an experienced and skill full HGV Technician for the state-of-the-art facilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV join a thriving workshop and be part of a forward-thinking company that looks after their employees.

The HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic role involves:

·Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Required for this HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic role:

·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV licence is an advantage
·Diagnostic experience

Salary additional information:

Qualified HGV Technicians
·Basic Technician £11.50 per hour
·Dealer Trained Technician £12.00 per hour

Bolt ons
·Franchise Training 50p per hour (per franchise)
·HGV 50p per hour (per franchise)
·Trailer Training (formal) 25p per hour (per brand)
·Tacho 50p per hour
·Tacho Manager £1.00 per hour (inclusive of the 50p tacho bolt on)
·Master Technician 50p per hour
·Foreman 50p per hour
·Class 4, 5, 7 50p per hour
·Bus + Coach 50p per hour
·Apprentice Mentor 50p per hour

Allowances/Bonus
·Foreman £40.00 per week
·Night shift £100.00 per week
