HGV TECHNICIAN

Experienced and self-motivated HGV Technician required for a thriving workshop in Wiltshire.

Basic: £30,940. Potential Earnings: £40,000 (Optional Saturday's, Call Out + Allowance, Double time)

Alternating Shift for HGV Technician:
06:00 - 14:30
13:30 - 22:00
Option to work on Saturday mornings (08:00 - 12:00 paid at time and a half)

£13 - £16 per hour + optional call out rota paid at £100.00 per week on call, £25.00 per call out and overtime / double time for out of normal working hour call outs.

Essential Skills & Qualifications for this HGV Technician role:
·NVQ Level 3/4 in Heavy Goods Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
·A can-do attitude, confidence and commitment.
·A genuine interest in ensuring you and your service team perform at the best of their ability.
·Full clean UK Driving Licence.
·Repairing company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current legislation.
·Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for annual MOT inspection.
·Diagnosis of vehicles using computer based diagnostic equipment.
