HGV Technician Job Details
Basic Salary: £38,792pa (40 Hour Contract) - Overtime 1.5x
Working Hours: No Weekends
Week 1 - Monday-Friday - 06:00-14:30
Week 2 - Monday-Friday - 10:30-19:00
 
Location: Doncaster
 
My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer business whom is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician /HGV Mechanic with a hard-working ethos but who also enjoys being in a friendly and sociable environment at their depot based in Doncaster.
 
Responsibilities of an HGV Technician
·Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Skills and Qualifications of an HGV Mechanic
·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·A HGV licence would be a distinctive benefit but not essential
