HGV TECHNICIAN
 
Salary - £38-40,000pa
 
Working Hours - Monday - Friday - Week 1 06:00-14:00, Week 2 13:00-21:00 + optional Saturday mornings + Paid call out rota
 
Location - Southampton
 
My client is looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join a team of 7 mobile/depot technicians. This is a varied role which will include some mobile work in addition to the main depot role.
 
Responsibilities of a HGV Technician
·Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.
Skills and Qualifications of a HGV Technician
·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV licence is an advantage
·Diagnostic experience
