In need of a motivated and enthusiastic Car or Van Technician wanting to progress into HGV's, required for a thriving workshop in Heathrow.   

This is an opportunity for a Car or Van technician to get the training and support from a large manufacturer, Progress and grow within the company and your career.
My client needs someone who is driven, hard working and eager to learn. In return you will work for a company that looks after its staff and have a fulfilling career. Ongoing training and progression must be important to the individual.

The HGV Technician involves:
·Repairing company vehicles (HGV &LCV) in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current legislation.
·Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
·Twelve weekly inspections.
·Preparation for MOT.
·provide road side assistance to broken down vehicles
·Diagnosis of vehicles using computer based diagnostic equipment.
·Carry out re-chassis work and light fabrication work.
·Good housekeeping routines to meet H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed to a high standard
·Utilise all Personal Protective Equipment as necessary.
·To communicate effectively with the Workshop Manager.
·To be flexible with as you may be required to cover sites


Required for this HGV Technician role:
·You must be a qualified Technician OR have 5+ years experience as a technician (car or van)
·Good understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and electrics
·Diagnostic experience
·The ability to work under pressure and achieve targets
·Must have own tools
·Interest in the Commercial Sector
