Salary of the HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic – Just over £40000.00

Working Hours for the HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic – Rotating Day shift
Week 1: Working 05:30am to 2:30pm - Monday to Friday
Week 2: Working 08:30am to 5:30pm - Monday to Friday plus a Saturday morning - 05:30am - 10:30am
average of 45 hours a week

Location of the HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic - Winterbrook - between Oxford and Reading

Motivated and enthusiastic HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic required for a successful workshop. You would be working for a fleet company in a great team in a well established and thriving business.

My client are looking for a team player to join, and you would be working in a clean and well equipped workshop.

Responsibilities of a HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic 
·Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards
·Maintain mixed fleet of rigid and articulated vehicles to high standards in line with DVSA and FTA requirements
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements
·Ensure all paperwork is completed

Skills and Qualifications of a HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / Plant Fitter
·Level 2 or 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·Time served of over 10 years will be accepted
·HGV licence is an advantage
·Semi-skilled candidates will be considered for this role
