Location of the HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / Municipal Technician: Preston

Salary of the HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / Municipal Technician:
£13.00ph (DOE) plus overtime at time and half
40 hours at £13.00ph and then 4 hours a week at 1.5 overtime
plus Saturdays available at 1.5

Working hours of the HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / Municipal Technician:
Dayshift, Monday to Friday - 44 hours a week (40 hours at basic rate and then 4 hours at 1.5)
Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 17:30 and Friday 08:00 - 16.30
Overtime available at time and a half

This a varied role working on vehicles and a specialist fleet.

We are looking for an HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / Municipal Technician to join a thriving workshop and be part of a forward-thinking company that looks after their employees.

This HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / Municipal Technician role involves:

·Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.

HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / Municipal Technician Requirements:

·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician (Time served considered too)
·Full Driving
·Experience of hydraulics and electrical systems an advantage but not essential as full training will be given
·Experience on Municipal vehicles is an advantage
