HGV Technician

My client, a well established family run construction company (specialising in the constructiong and conversion of high specification new homes) is looking for a HGV Technician to join their workforce.

The HGV Technician role is not a new role but a role to replace their long serving previous HGV Technician.

The role of HGV Technician for this company will be to repair, maintain and service the companies vehicles (Vans, lorries etc.) and also work on the construction machinery (Telehandlers, excavators and more).

For the right HGV Technician you will receive good rates of pay, a van supplied with the role, 28 days holiday (including 8 bank holidays), and the company pension scheme.

The HGV Technician will be working mainly in the workshop but there will also be site visits required, so it does mean that you may not always be tied in workshop and you get some variety in your day.

This is a full time role and the hours are 07:30 am to 17:00 pm Monday - Friday (45 hours a week). They do not work Saturdays.

The HGV Technician should have relevant experience, either 1 year on heavy plant or 3 years mechanical. A HGV licence would be an advantage but not essential.
