For over 40 years, my client has been raising the standards of excellence for service to transport operators throughout the UK. With 6 dealerships and 5 authorised repairers, they are able to offer commercials and services throughout the UK.


The HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic role involves:

·Repairing company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current legislation.
·Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for annual MOT inspection.
·Diagnosis of vehicles using computer based diagnostic equipment.
·Carry out re-chassis work and light fabrication work.
·Good housekeeping routines to meet H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed to a high standard.
·Utilise all Personal Protective Equipment as necessary.
·To communicate effectively with the Workshop Manager

Essential for this HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic role:

·Level 3 or equivalent
·Class 2 licence
·A strong diagnostic background
·Main dealer experience
