HGV Technician

Location: Salisbury

Salary: £27000,00 up to £31,000.00 + OT

Working hours of the HGV Technician / PSV Fitter / Van Mechanic / LCV Technician / Mechanic :
Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm (Flexible start and finish times)
Saturday mornings available every Saturday as overtime 8:00am - 12:00pm

Motivated and enthusiastic HGV Technician / PSV Fitter / Van Mechanic / LCV Technician / Mechanic required for a successful and expanding workshop in Salisbury.

As a HGV Technician / PSV Fitter / Van Mechanic / LCV Technician / Mechanic you will need to service and repair vehicles in a safe and economical manner.

HGV Technician / PSV Fitter / Van Mechanic / LCV Technician / Mechanic general duties:

•Vehicle Inspections
•General Servicing
•Correction / repair of vehicle defects
•Engine / Gearbox repairs & overhauls
•MOT Preparation / Presentation
•Completion of all required paperwork
•Fault diagnosis

HGV Technician / PSV Fitter / Van Mechanic / LCV Technician / Mechanic skills and experience:

•Required to work in busy workshop
•Must be conversant with current working methods, including MOT Preparation and vehicle diagnostics
•Experience working with Texa and SnapOn Modus diagnostic systems an advantage
•Experience of on-site inspections and attending breakdowns preferable
•Driving licence essential
•Someone who would like to do overtime would be a benefit for this role
•A flexible individual with a can do attitude
