Working Hours of the LGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / Light Commercial Technician / Mechanic / PSV Technician / Technician / Diesel Mechanic:

Working hours: 39.75
Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6.30am - 2.30pm
Week 2: Monday to Friday, 2pm - 10pm
plus alternative Saturday morning 7.30am - 12.00pm


Salary: £40.034.00


Location: Colnbrook

My client, a successful commercial dealership, are recruiting for an LGV Mechanic  / HGV Technician / Light Commercial Technician / Mechanic / PSV Technician / Technician / Diesel Mechanic for their Colnbrook depot.


About the LGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / Light Commercial Technician / Mechanic / PSV Technician / Technician / Diesel Mechanic:

You’ll maintain our mixed fleet of rigid and articulated vehicles to high standards in line with DVSA and FTA requirements

Key responsibilities for the LGV Mechanic  / HGV Technician / Light Commercial Technician / Mechanic / PSV Technician / Technician / Diesel Mechanic include:

·Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Skills and Essential Qualities for the LGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / Light Commercial Technician / Mechanic / PSV Technician / Technician / Diesel Mechanic:

·C&G HGV parts 1, 2 and 3, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent
·HGV licence is an advantage
·Diagnostic experience
·LGV Licence is an advantage
