HGV Technician / LCV Technician

Location: Sittingbourne
Salary: £30,156pa DOE

Working hours: Shift pattern
06:00am - 14:00pm
12:00pm - 20:00pm
08:00am - 17:00pm

Motivated and Enthusiastic LCV Technician / LCV Fitter / Van Mechanic / Van Technician / Mechanic / HGV Technician / HGV Fitter required for a successful workshop in Sittingbourne.

As an LCV Technician / LCV Fitter / Van Mechanic / Van Technician / Mechanic / HGV Technician / HGV Fitter you will need to service and repair vehicles in a safe and economical manner employing such skills and knowledge as may be required, including the ability to diagnose fault with the minimum supervision.

LCV Technician / LCV Fitter / Van Mechanic / Van Technician / Mechanic / HGV Technician / HGV Fitter general duties:

•Vehicle Inspections
•General Servicing
•Correction / repair of vehicle defects
•Engine / Gearbox repairs & overhauls
•MOT Preparation / Presentation
•Completion of all required paper work

LCV Technician / LCV Fitter / Van Mechanic / Van Technician / Mechanic / HGV Technician / HGV Fitter requires:

·NVQ Level 3/4 in Heavy Goods Maintenance and Repair.
•Must be conversant with current working methods, including MOT Preparation and Vehicle diagnostics
•Work to include carrying out service and maintenance of customers vehicles
•Experience of on-site inspections and attending breakdowns preferable
•Full UK Driving licence
