Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Technician  required for a successful, modern workshop in Thurrock.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for an HGV Technician to  join a thriving workshop and be part of a forward-thinking company that looks after their employees.
 
The HGV Technician involves:
·Supervising a shift of HGV Technicians and ensuring staff discipline is maintained.
·Repairing company vehicles (HGV &LCV) in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current legislation
·Diagnosis of vehicles using computer based diagnostic equipment.
·Issuing work to Technicians and providing technical support to your team.
·Twelve weekly inspections.
·Managing shift effectively and proactively improving shift productivity.
·Ensuring excellent quality standards are achieved.
·Maintaining and managing customer expectations.
·Ensuring good housekeeping and all health and safety processes are always adhered too.
Required for this HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic role:
·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified HGV technician
·Strong leadership and communication skills.
·The ability to work under pressure and achieve targets.
·UK Driving Licence
·Have a positive and flexible outlook.
·Diagnostic experience
·Own tool kit
·Able to write up job cards concisely
