Salary of the HGV Driver / Yard Hand / Shunter – £23000 - £25000.00

Working Hours of the HGV Driver / Yard Hand / Shunter- days - 45 hours a day 8am - 5pm

Location of the HGV Driver / Yard Hand / Shunter - Gloucestershire Dursley


My client is looking for an HGV Driver / Yard Hand / Shunter for their successful workshop in Gloucestershire.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HGV Driver / Yard Hand / Shunter to join a thriving company and be part of a forward-thinking company that looks after their employees. This would suit an HGV Driver / Yard Hand / Shunter that is looking to wind down from main driving or someone who would like to move vehicles around a yard or go and collect / deliver vehicles from their other site.

Duties as an HGV Driver / Yard Hand / Shunter will include:

·Accurately signing vehicles in and out of the business
·Collection and delivering HGV Commercial Vehicle for MOT or from the other site
·Ensuring safe parking and storage in the car parks and vehicle compounds
·Liaising with sub-contractors and the Service, Sales and Paint shop departments for keys and vehicles
·Administration duties
·Maintain Internal and External Areas of Location
·Cleanliness of the yard area
·Maintain equipment and stocks of required consumables
·As directed, perform tasks in the general upkeep and cleanliness of the premises
