HGV DRIVER - CLASS 1
 
Salary - £13.50/hour PAYE
Duration - 3 months contract with possibility to extend
Working Hours - Mondays to Fridays 08:00 - 17:00
Location - Oxford 

This is a contract position for 3 months, with the possibility to extend

Experienced and efficient HGV Class 1 Driver required to join our client on a 3-month contract basis in Oxford.

As a HGV Class 1 Driver you will be responsible to delivering goods to customers in a timely and safe manner in line with company and customer expectations.
 
Responsibilities of the HGV Class 1 Driver:
·Load Delivery Vehicle in a safe and secure manner.
·Deliver orders to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
·Where required collection of payment by agreed methods according to company policy.
·Ensure the safety and legal compliance of allocated vehicle.
·Carry out daily checks on allocated vehicle to include lights, oil and water levels, tyre conditions.
·Report to the Department Manager / Supervisor
·Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work
·Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team

 
Skills and Qualifications of a HGV Class 1 Driver:
·Full clean C+E driving licence
·Digital Tachograph Card
·CPC Card
·At least 1 year Class 1 driving experience - desirable
