My client an established and successful HGV Commercial Vehicle company in Durham are looking for an experienced Fleet Controller.

The Fleet Controller role requires someone who has:

·A working knowledge of the commercial vehicle Industry
·Good knowledge level of IT including Excel and outlook
·Previous experience of working with “ in house” systems
·Commercially aware to identify efficiency opportunities without compromising quality
·Consistently seeks to improve processes
·Self-motivated
·A clean driving licence or class 1 or 2 would be an advantage

The Role of a Fleet Controller:

·Ensuring that my client take’s preventative measures to keep the Fleet in the best possible order, whilst ensuring compliance with all current legislation and best practice
·Proactively assist in managing a fleet of commercial vehicles, supporting customers, driving operationally excellent processes
·Compliance
·Assisting the workshop
·Ensuring the smooth running of the department in the service Managers absence
·Arranging and organising the driver’s diary’s
