Job role: DAY SHIFT HGV Technician
 
Working days & hours: Monday - Friday - 07:00 - 17:30
 
Hourly rates: £17.00ph (£41,900 Basic) - £19.00ph (£46,930 Basic)
Overtime paid at time and a half of basic rate - Yearly earnings to £55,000 - £60,000 per year
 
Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire
 
Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic is required for a successful workshop.

Responsibilities of a HGV Technician
 
·Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles faults using manufacturer diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Skills and Qualifications of a HGV Technician
 
·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV licence is an advantage
·Diagnostic experience
