Commercial Vehicle Paint Sprayer

Location: Manchester

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 plus any Overtime

Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:00


Fully skilled Commercial Vehicle Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician / HGV Paint Sprayer required to join a successful team at our clients busy Manchester Bodyshop. Fully conversant with all types of prepping and spraying techniques and possess the required skills to prepare and paint Vehicles and Trailers to the highest of standards, ideally hold a full clean driving licence.

Duties as a Commercial Vehicle Paint Sprayer /HGV Paint Technician / HGV Paint Sprayer:

·Be responsible for and ensure that all pre-defined production and pre-start checks are carried out and that all process paperwork is completed correctly and accurately.
·Prep and paint a variety of LGV and/or HGV, coaches & plant
·Carry out relevant preventative maintenance tasks on all equipment
·Setting up paint application equipment in the paint shop for all possible paint applications in accordance with best practice
·You will have previous experience working as a Prepper.
·You must have previous experience working within a busy bodyshop and be a strong team player with a self-motivation.
·You will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of Commercial Vehicle repair techniques.


Requirements as aCommercial Vehicle Paint Sprayer / HGV Paint Technician / HGV Paint Sprayer will include:

·Experience as a Vehicle Painter, sprayer, prepping and in strip and fit
·Experience working with HGV / LCV / Plant / Coaches is essential
·Effective communicator with good customer service skills
·Experience within a Bodyshop, or Accident Repair Centre
·Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time.
·Preparing vehicles for painting
·Masking
·Detailing
·Ideally hold a full clean driving licence
