MOT TESTER (Class 4) / Deputy Lane Manager

Shifts:
Monday - Friday (38.5 hours a week)
(Some Saturdays may be required)

My client has been going for over 116 years later, and they are still providing quality local bus services the town of Warrington.
They have a fleet of 91 buses that operate approximately 5 million kilometres in service per annum. 
They are looking for a class 4 MOT Tester / Deputy Lane Manager to join them.

The Role of a MOT Tester:
·Undertake MOT Tests to DVSA requirements, standards and responsibility's
·Follow company guidelines
·Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service
·Ensures effective use of technical knowledge and skills enabling efficient, economic and safe practice of vehicle inspections and repairs
·Build effective working relationships with colleagues
·Carry out MOT's on a regular basis in accordance with company expectations
·Complete repairs and service records/other appropriate duties the Service Manager requires
·Analyses work orders carefully to understand a vehicles condition, the accuracy of the diagnosis, and what work has been agreed
·You will also be supervising the work flow, ensuring the smooth running of the MOT lane

What the MOT Tester needs:

·Have a current and full UK driving licence for the vehicle classes they want to test (PSV Licence)
·You must be a skilled mechanic with at least 4 years full-time employment in the service and repair of the vehicle types to be tested.
·You must be a qualified PSV Technician.
