Business Development Manager
Salary £30,000 - £35,000 basic, OTE uncapped £50,000
HoursMonday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm
Location: Field-based role with regular travel to client locations ideally situated around the Guildford area

Role Description: Our client is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing dealership and manufacturer relationships, maintaining and growing existing client accounts, and acquiring new customers. This is a field-based role working with premium clients, requiring strong communication skills, CRM experience, and a proactive approach to sales.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealership and manufacturer partners. Act as the main point of contact for all business-related matters, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
2.Account Management: Provide excellent account management to existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products and services.
3.New Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities. Develop and implement strategies to attract and onboard new customers, with a focus on premium clients in the automotive industry.
4.CRM Experience: Utilize CRM systems effectively to manage customer relationships, track sales activities, and generate reports. Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is maintained at all times.
5.Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to pass on relevant information and insights gathered from client interactions. Provide support in the sales process, including proposal preparation, presentations, and negotiations.
6.Social Media and Marketing: Leverage social media platforms and marketing channels to enhance brand visibility and generate leads. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials.
7.Field-Based Role: Travel to client locations as required to conduct meetings, presentations, and business reviews. Always represent the company professionally and act as a brand ambassador.
Qualifications and Skills:
·Proven experience in business development, account management, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
·Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish rapport and credibility with key stakeholders.
·Experience working with premium clients and/or in the automotive industry is highly desirable.
·Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
·Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
·Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
·Full driving license required. Company car provided.
