Assembly Fitter

Location: Westbury
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday days with flexible hours + Overtime available at time and a half & Time save bonus

Our local engineering client are looking for Assembly Fitters / Fitters to join their team, working on specialist commercial vehicle builds for a wide range of high profile clients. This is a perfect opportunity to forge a career in commercial vehicle building.

Assembly Fitter / Fitter responsibilities:

·Reading engineers drawings to undertake vehicle builds
·Using hand tools and working to deadlines in an engineering environment
·General fitting
·Working with wood, composites and metal will be required for this role
·Removal and refitting of interior and exterior trims, framework and panels
·General fitting and assembly work

Assembly Fitter / Fitter experience:

·Experience of working on vehicle bodies would be an advantage for this role
·Metalwork or light fitting / assembly experience
·Experience working with vehicles or in an engineering environment would be an advantage
·A trainee with transferable skills will be considered for this role

This is a role working for a friendly, family owned company with overtime at time and a half, full training and bonuses for meeting production deadlines.
