Agricultural Technician- West Sussex

£30,000-£40,000

Monday to Friday -08:00PM-17:30PM
Weekend On call requirement every 5th week

candidates with previous experience working on plant machinery or HGVs with transferable skills will also be considered.

This is an opportunity for a technician to really make it their own position in helping to support the Successful family run business in driving the business forward through supporting the workshop and the service team, support and service across Essex, Kent, Sussex and Hampshire, partnering with leading franchises.

A Company Van will be provided, fully equipped


The Agricultural Technician involves:
·Repairing and servicing agricultural machinery
·Twelve weekly inspections.
·Diagnosis of vehicles using computer based diagnostic equipment.
·Carry out re-chassis work and light fabrication work.
·Good housekeeping routines to meet H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed to a high standard.
·Utilise all Personal Protective Equipment as necessary.
·To communicate effectively with the Workshop Manager.

Required for this Agricultural Technician role:
·ATLEAST 3 Years of HGV experience or LCV experience or PLANT experience
·Fabrication skills
·Driving License Class 1 and 2 is desirable
·Trailer experience
·Diagnostic experience
·Knowledge of DVSA legislation
·Must have own tools
·experience in a main dealer is an advantage.
