Vehicle Repair Centre in Hull require a fully experienced Accounts Administrator to join their team.
Duties of an Accounts Administrator:
·General office administration, including payroll and accounts
·Using a bespoke motor trade invoicing system
·Candidates must be able to work on their own initiative to a high standard and also be part of a forward-thinking team.
Key skills and experience required for the role of Accounts Administrator:
·Manage all postings of bank receipts and payments and then to reconcile the bank account.
·Manage all aspects of the customer ledger, including posting of sales invoices, matching of customer receipts, raising customer statements, reconciling balances on individual customer accounts, all aspects of credit control, reconciling list of customer balances to the nominal ledger control account.
·Manage all aspects of the supplier ledger, including posting of purchase invoices, matching of supplier payments, reconciling to supplier statements, managing supplier payments run for approval by the director, reconciling list of supplier balances to the nominal ledger control account.
·Posting of payroll journals to relevant Sage nominal ledger control accounts and P&L accounts.
·Reconciliation of nominal ledger control accounts.
·Managing and posting journals as required.
·Running nominal ledger reports as required trial balance / P&L / BS.
·Managing the VAT account, including filing of quarterly VAT Return with HMRC through MTD on Sage.
·Running year end routines.
·Full working knowledge of Sage Payroll
