My client is a specialist in vehicle rescue and recovery, delivering a first-class emergency service.

The Depot is just 5 years old with state of the art equipment and is based Manchester. The client is extremely responsive to both clients and staff needs and requests.

They are looking for an experienced workshop Manager who also has experience working on HGV’s.

The role is 20% on the tools as you will be training and mentoring the members of staff

The role of the Workshop Manger:

·Responsible for all staff employed within the workshop
·Responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the workshop
·Overseeing the maintenance and repair of a wide range of vehicles and equipment
·Maintain an overview of the paint shop’s productivity
·Continuous improvement of technician efficiencies & maintain high productivity

The successful Workshop Manager will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

·Level 3 HGV Technician
·Class 1
·Experience in the diagnosis, servicing, maintenance and repair of vehicles;
·Experience of both managing a workshop preferably undertaking heavy vehicle repairs
·It is essential that you have and supervising all technical and support staff within that workshop
·Provide accurate work estimates for repairs and refurbishments on both in-house and customer vehicles or equipment
·Ensure jobs are completed on schedule with work records compiled accurately.
·Undertaken manufacturers training courses and maintained knowledge of work methods and technical data
·A friendly, confident and professional manner with excellent communication skills.
·Previous experience of running a commercial workshop
