WORKSHOP CONTROLLER (Automotive)
Basic salary up to £28,000pa with OTE/BONUS up £34,000pa (Depending on experience)

My client is seeking a highly organised and experienced Automotive Workshop Controller to run a friendly and busy workshop!

Do you have experience of managing a large automotive workshop, manage vehicle technician / mechanic efficiencies, warranty, MOT?

WORKSHOP CONTROLLER - Key tasks and responsibilities include:
·Organising and managing workload for a large workshop, and manage job cards for Vehicle Technicians / Mechanics
·Determine availability of workshop hours daily & communicate regularly
·You will possess the skills to be organised and the ability to engage and motivate people and manage the day to day tasks
·Maintain progress information of each job allocated & liaise with Vehicle Technicians / Mechanics to ensure customers are kept informed
·Monitor all workshop orders through the parts department, keeping ahead of outstanding work & parts on order
·Managing bookings, dealing with customers, creating invoices, handling customer payments
·Ensure all applicable warranty paperwork is administered by and dealt with by the appropriate department
·Pass on all documentation for completed work to Tester & organise any extra work if necessary
·Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times whilst also motivating your team.

WORKSHOP CONTROLLER Job Specification:
·Main Dealer or Large independent garage experience is desirable
·Senior Service Advisor / Master Technician within the automotive industry is welcomed
·Experience of managing Vehicle Technicians / Mechanics
·Must be able to implement new ideas and increase performance enhancement
·Computer literate
·An amazing attitude and flexible in approach
·Good communicator
·Balanced approach
·Ability to work within a team frame work
·Ability meeting deadlines
·Good man management skills
·Focus on high standards and quality
