WORKSHOP CONTROLLER (CAR DEALERSHIP)
SALARY: £30,000 - £33,000 BASIC + OTE £43,000
BASED IN NORTH WEST LONDON

A new and exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced workshop controller to join a hard working and excellent dealership based in North West London.

 As a Workshop Controller, you will play a very important role in one of the busiest and most pressurised roles within the Dealership. You will be required to assign technicians to tasks ensuring productivity is maximised and that deadlines are adhered to. As the line manager, you are responsible for performance management, coaching and development of the team.

WORKSHOP CONTROLLER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

·Working closely with senior management to achieve the highest possible customer satisfaction above the manufacturers national average.
·Focusing on customer needs and satisfaction; sets high standards for quality and quantity; monitors and maintain quality and productivity
·This role will require some customer facing and may include road tests and managing query resolution
·Schedule work to meet customer requirements, considering workshop / bodyshop utilisation targets, job complexity and parts availability
·To distribute and control work for the Technicians to maximise quality and overall efficiency
·To ensure a strong relationship is maintained with the parts department to maximise parts availability
· Aware of the financial KPI’s of the service department recording daily/weekly/monthly technician’s productivity/efficiencies

WORKSHOP CONTROLLER SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

·Have a full UK driving licence.
·Have previous/current experience of working in the automotive industry
·Experience managing a large team of technicians
·Have relevant experience working in a workshop environment.
·Have good organisational, planning and customer service skills.
·Have experience in Kerridge Point of Sale
·Basic IT literacy
