Workshop Controller required for our client in Marlborough
Basic Salary: £28,000pa - £30,000pa

Our client is seeking a Workshop Controller who understands the demands of an independent MOT Centre and the ability to meet the high standards that this position brings. Your responsibilities include quoting for jobs, modernizing systems and running the team. You will possess the skills to be able to assist mechanics with technical advice and help with services. Suitable for a candidate looking to make a step up in their career.

Working hours: 8.00am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday every other Saturday 8.00am – 2.00pm

Skills & Qualifications of a Workshop Controller:

·Experience of managing a team of Vehicle Technicians / Mechanics
·Must be able to demonstrate leadership and identify problems within the workshop and understand how to fix them
·Must have a CAN-DO attitude with the ability to prioritise / organise work to ensure the workshop runs smoothly
·Strong communication is ESSENTIAL - you are the central person who service, parts and technicians will report too and therefore must be able to give quick solutions to any issues
·3 years + time served in the automotive industry
